While Stromberg Vineyards is not open to the public, it is near the picturesque town of Healdsburg, California. Healdsburg has evolved from a quiet agricultural hamlet surrounded by prune orchards to a charming wine country town encircled by famous vineyards and host to thousands of tourists. It is a premier wine country destination. Healdsburg is home to such world-class restaurants as Charlie Palmer's Dry Creek Kitchen, Madrona Manor, and Michelin two-star rated Cyrus. Luxury accommodations encompass the Victorian elegance of the Madrona Manor, the European opulence of Hotel Les Mars, and the modern comfort of Hotel Healdsburg. Boutique shops selling local arts and crafts encircle the town's quaint central plaza.

Healdsburg is home to the renowned, annual, summer Healdsburg Jazz Festival that brings in international and local jazz musicians to play in a wide range of venues that include area restaurants, clubs, theaters, parks, and surrounding wineries.
